Lois Mildred Robinette

January 10, 1936 — March 20, 2015

Lois Mildred Robinette, 79, of Casa Grande died peacefully on March 20, 2015, at home, with her family by her side.

The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at CrossRoads Church, with Pastor Tim Hill officiating.

Mrs. Robinette was born on Jan. 10, 1936, in Valliant, Oklahoma, and was a daughter of Sterling and Burtie Tatum. She worked on the Tohono O’odham Nation for 33 years as owner and operator of Santa Rosa Trading Post and also owned and worked at CG Mini Storage. She made many friends on the reservation.

She liked to read and make ceramic dolls and animals. She did much church work and helped with the relocation of First Assembly of God in 1977 to its current location. She more recently was a member of CrossRoads Church and was happily married for 64 years.

Survivors include her husband, Don; three sons, Don Ray and Jim W. Robinette of Arizona City and Jerry Robinette of Casa Grande; a brother, Clifford Tatum of Valliant; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
