Lewis Chapman

STANFIELD — Lewis Chapman, 85, of Stanfield died on June 18, 2013, at Hospice Family Care in Casa Grande.

The celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Pastor Tim Hill and Larry Morrow officiating.

Mr. Chapman was born on April 8, 1928, in Clarksville, Texas, and was a son of William W. Chapman and Ida Bell Strawn. He was a truck driver, was kindhearted and loved his family very much. He enjoyed taking long rides, traveling, having coffee at Cracker Barrel and listening to country music.

Survivors include five daughters, Sharon Durant of Casa Grande, Sheila Quick of Oracle, Diane Bridges, Terri Ramirez and Tammy Cervantes, all of Casa Grande; four stepdaughters, Cindy Casey and Diane Williams of Casa Grande, Linda Clark of California and Cheryl Mosley of Colorado; a sister, Helen Scott of Henderson, Nev.; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives, Nell and Helen Chapman; two brothers; a sister; and a grandchild.
