Levi Emerson

SACATON - Levi Emerson Jr., 67, of Sacaton died peacefully on July 30, 2016.

Mr. Emerson was born on Dec. 26, 1948, in Sacaton to Levi and Rayma Emerson. He loved to listen to music, make his famous hot salsa and spend time with his grandchildren. He was very handy at fixing things around the house and shopping.

Survivors include his wife, Philomine; a brother, Gorden Emerson; and a sister, Naoni Howard. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dean Emerson, John Jacobs and Hubert Juan, and two sisters, Inez Satala and Geraldine Hayes.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at the District 3 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 6 a.m. Monday in North Blackwater Cemetery.
