GILA BEND — Leo Ramirez Sr., 55, of nearby San Lucy died on Dec. 4, 2009 at Palm Valley, Hospice of the Valley in Goodyear.
Visitation will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Ramirez home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. at St. Lucy Catholic Mission. Burial will be in San Lucy Cemetery.
Mr. Ramirez was born on Nov. 8, 1954 in Ajo. He was a maintenance supervisor.
Survivors include three daughters, Leah N. Ramirez of Casa Grande, Sylvia Lopez of San Lucy and Araura Smith II of Tucson; a son, Leo Ramirez Jr. of San Lucy; his companion, Darlene C. Lopez; his mother, Alice Ramirez of San Lucy; two brothers, Richard Ramirez of Tucson and Willard Ramirez of San Lucy; six sisters, Sandra Dominguez, Irene, Della, Gloria and Eileen Ramirez and Kathleen Reyna, all of San Lucy; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cypriano Ramirez, and a grandson, Jace Flores.
