Leo Benedict Jose

NORTH KOMELIK VILLAGE - Leo Benedict Jose, 60, died on June 7, 2020.

Mr. Jose was born on Dec. 28, 1959, in Sacaton to Patricia Juan and Silverino Jose. He worked at Cypress Tohono Corp. mine, then for the Tohono O'odham Nation Judicial Branch for 22 years until 2019.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His hobby was playing music.

Survivors include five daughters and sons, Patricia, Lucius, Noel, Arecola and Elisco; two brothers, Virgil and Benji Jose; his former wife, Carmen Pablo Jose; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Lela.
