Lena Enos

AK-CHIN - Lena Enos, 88, died July 31, 2007 at RTA Hospice House in Casa Grande.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to midnight Wednesday at the Elder Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Mission by Deacon Tom Swisher. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.

Mrs. Enos was born Dec. 17, 1918 in Ak-Chin and was a daughter of Joseph and Josepha Thomas. She was a teacher at Maricopa Elementary School.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore; two daughters, Myrna Wagner of Maricopa and Theda Corona of Salt River; a son, Terry Enos of Ak-Chin; and a sister, Vera Antone of Ak-Chin. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Anthony, Herbert, Edmund and Harry; two sisters, Esther Carlyle and Bernice Lewis; two sons, Danny and Darice Enos; a daughter, Phoebe Enos; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
