Lawrence Puffer

HICKIWAN VILLAGE - Lawrence Calhoun Puffer, 71, of Hickiwan died on March 7, 2014, at Hospice Family Care.

The funeral and wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Hickiwan Community Fellowship Church. All choirs are welcome. Burial will be in Ten Mile Ranch Cemetery near Ajo. Dallas Lopez and Mike Randal will officiate.

Mr. Puffer was born on March 16, 1942, in Charco 27 Village and was a son of Alonzo Puffer and Angie Jim. He worked on cattle ranches.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 27 years, Eleanor Jane Puffer; a son, Gabriel of Arizona; a stepson, Ivan of Salt River; two brothers, Joseph Puffer of Hickiwan and James Puffer of Arizona; a sister, Daisy Puffer of Coolidge; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Antone, and two brothers, George and William Puffer Sr.
