Lawrence Nelson

CASA BLANCA - Lawrence Nelson Jr., 39, died on July 9, 2020. In early 2020 he started having medical problems requiring him to be in and out of hospitals, but he fought as hard as he could.

Mr. Nelson was born on Jan. 4, 1981, and was a son of Andrea Nelson of Casa Blanca and Lawrence A. Nelson Sr. of Washington. He grew up with five siblings, Jamie, Melissa, Angela, Erin and Alan. He attended school in Casa Blanca, Chandler and Casa Grande. He obtained a GED and attended community college in Las Vegas.

He married Vanessa Johnson and returned home to Casa Blanca. Expecting to be a father to Lawrence Abraham Steven Nelson, he quickly took on the responsibility of work. He worked for Z-Best Medical Transportation for 13 years. He was loved by many and was known for his sense of humor, his heart and his devotion to family and friends.
