Lawrence Cheater, Sr.

Lawrence Cheater Sr., 64, of Coolidge, Arizona died May 23, 2022, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was April 1, 1958, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Smith Pickup and Louann Cheater. Lawrence enjoyed wood carving and feeding his birds. He liked fishing, eating crawdads. He enjoyed working on cars and passed it down to his daughter Amanda. He loved being surrounded by his family, especially his wife Cynthia of 47 years and his kids and grandchildren. Lawrence had a great personality, and he made a friend everywhere he went.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia, his sons and daughters, Lawrence Jr., of Coolidge, Jolena Steed of Oklahoma, Amanda of Mesa, Justin of Coolidge, and Christopher of Gila River, and a brother Ronnie Cheater Sr., of Casa Grande, 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters Lavina and Lizzie.
A wake service will be held Wednesday, June 1st beginning at 4pm at the family residence, 637 N. 7th Place, in Coolidge.
