Larry Stanley Pablo

AK-CHIN - Larry Stanley Pablo, 63, died peacefully on May 31, 2008 at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, with his family by his side.


The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Pablo home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Mission. Burial will be in Ak-Chin Cemetery.

Mr. Pablo was born Dec. 31, 1944 in Ak-Chin to Juan and Lorraine (Vincent) Pablo. He was a farm foreman and was devoted to his family. He loved gardening, taking pictures and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Joann; three sons, Douglas, Maynard and Manford Pablo, all of Ak-Chin; three daughters, Cleo Pablo, Sheila Pablo-Bandin and Clorenda Humeyumptewa, all of Ak-Chin; a sister, Shirley Schwitzer of Ak-Chin; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Pablo, and two sisters.
