Larry Rendon

TEMPE — Lauriano Soliz “Larry” Rendon, 75, of Tempe died on May 6, 2010 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Road in Tempe. The funeral will follow at 11, with Aurora Corriero officiating. Burial will be in East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave. in Phoenix.
Mr. Rendon was born on July 4, 1934 in Doole, Texas, and was a son of Natividad and Petra Rendon. He served in the Air Force and was a staff sergeant. He later was an air-conditioning technician. He adored his family and enjoyed every moment that he spent with them. He never left home without saying “I love you” to his family.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sylvia Sue; a son, Marcos L. Rendon of Tempe; a daughter, Corine C. Rendon Paden of Tempe; three brothers, Simon, Natividad and Telesforo Rendon, all of Hobbs, N.M.; two sisters, Julia Garza of Casa Grande and Nora Carrasco of Lubbock, Texas; and one granddaughter.
