Larry Frantz

ELOY — Larry E. Frantz Sr., 67, of Eloy died on Jan. 25, 2011, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
The celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Toltec Evangelical Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jeff Bishop and the Rev. Debra Miller officiating.
Mr. Frantz was born on Feb. 14, 1943, in Bluffton, Ind., and was a son of Marion D. Frantz and Edna Ware. He was a minister and a member of Toltec Evangelical Methodist Church. He was lead chaplain for Truckstop Ministries at Petro on Sunland Gin Road. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, woodworking and yard work. He loved spending time outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie E.; four sons, Dennis L. Roop of Monroeville, Ind., Tony L. Roop of Decatur, Ind., Charles H. Roop of Mammoth and Larry E. Frantz Jr. of Preble, Ind.; three daughters, Shari L. Faucher of Marine City, Mich., Debbie J. West of Churubusco, Ind., and Rebecca J. Schlichter of Ossian, Ind.; a brother, Ted Frantz of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; 22 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Anjie Roop and Brenda Overmier; a brother, Daniel Frantz; a sister, Kathleen Paxson; and a grandson, Shawnce Browning.
