Kathleen Richardson

Kathleen Richardson passed away peacefully on June 6, 2008.


Kathleen is survived by her parents Maryleen and John, her brother Ros (wife Vickie), nephew Roswell, nieces RheAnna and Joleen, and her lifelong friend Rona Curphy. She also had many other friends who were important to her and her very special child, her cat, Thai, who is the master and commander of the house. She was predeceased by her brother John and sister-in-law Cathy.

Kathleen was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. She obtained her nursing degree (BSN) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a MSN from University of Central Arkansas at Conway. She started her nursing career in Decatur, Alabama and journeyed afar to Rawlins, Wyoming, Colorado Springs, Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Casa Grande, Arizona. Her health career specialty was cardiac care and her passion was teaching. Her students will know and remember her high level of knowledge but particularly her wit and sense of humor. A memorial service will be held at the Casa Grande Regional Medical Center Pavilion at 950 North Arizola on Tuesday, June 10th at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathleen's memory to the Casa Grande Regional Medical Center Foundation at 1800 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande, Arizona 85222.
