Julia R. Valdez

Julia R. Valdez, 57, of Palo Verde and an Eloy native, died April 9, 2008 at home.


The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel.

Ms. Valdez was born Aug. 11, 1950. She was a caregiver and enjoyed caring for her family and anyone around her. She loved the Lord, had a big heart, was a hard worker and had a good sense of humor. She loved music.

Survivors include a daughter, Victoria Garza of Eloy; her mother, Mercedes R. Valdez of Eloy; five sisters, Eva Hernandez of Casa Grande, Velia Salazar of Tucson, Juanita Zaragoza, Carmen Valdez and Diana Valdez, all of Arizona City; six brothers, Joe, Cruz, Luis, Raymond, Larry and Danny Valdez, all of Eloy; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Jessie Garza Jr., and her father, Jose L. Valdez.
