Julia Alma Weddle Roe

January 18, 1920 — September 11, 2014

Julia Alma Weddle Roe, 94, of Eloy died on Sept. 11, 2014, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.

The service of remembrance will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy. Pastor Tim Pruit officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Roe was born on Jan. 18, 1920, in El Dorado, Oklahoma, and was a daughter of S.G. and Mamie (Newman) Garrison. She was a certified nursing assistant before retirement and also was a former member of Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed word puzzles, embroidery, camping, flower arranging and watching he Diamondbacks.

Survivors include a son, DeWitt ( Georgia Ann) Weddle of Eloy; a stepson, John (Jo) Roe of Aurora, Colorado; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Erroll Weddle in 1971 and Sam Roe in 1993; a son, Keith Erroll "Moose" Weddle in 2000; two sisters, Anne Morris and Velma Peyton; and a brother, Jody Garrison.
