Judith Ann Self

Judith Ann Self, 73, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was taken by angels on Wednesday, October 17, 2019 after a swift battle with cancer. Judy is survived by her husband, George, and their three three children: Kimberly (Russ) Stevens, Kevin (Laurie) Self, and Katie Self. She was a loving grandmother to Tyler, Tanner and Jacinda. Judy is also survived by her brother Emil (Anna) Bowmil and several nieces and nephews.

Judy and George would celebrate 53 years of wedded bliss on November 5th. These soulmates met in college; imagine her in white knee-high Nancy Sinatra boots, and his smooth James Brown moves, and the rest is history.

Judy was outspoken and sassy, but selfless to a fault. Her spirit will live on through everyone she knew and loved. May her memory be a blessing.

A memorial celebration in Judy's honor will be held at a date to be determined in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are welcome to make a donation to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation, an organization who's mission is to improve lung cancer outcomes by funding research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer.
