Juan Rodriguez

Beloved Father, spouse, grandfather, great-grandfather was born to Claudia and Juan Rodriguez in Lagunillas, Michoacan, Mexico on June 15, 1930. On June 07, 2021 he was sent to heaven in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 90. Juan married his childhood sweetheart, Lucia Aguirre Rodriguez and they were married for 67 years. They had eight children and lived in Maricopa, Arizona for over 61 years. Juan was a kind and humorous soul with his family and friends. He was devoted to his family and made sure they were taken care of. Juan came to the U.S. in 1959 and worked as a farm laborer in Maricopa, Arizona. In 1972, Juan attended Arizona Job College and received his certification in carpentry and worked for a Union for many years. Juan’s proudest accomplishment was becoming a U.S. citizen and that dream came true in 1972. After retirement he focused on building his houses on lots he accrued and dedicated his time with his family and grandchildren showing them the trick of the construction trade. Juan is survived by his loving wife, Lucia Aguirre Rodriguez; his children, Jose and Bertha Rodriguez (Chandler), Alex Rodriguez (Tempe), Claudia and Ruben Aviles (Maricopa), Terre Bejarano (Maricopa), Eddie and Lucia Rodriguez (Maricopa), John Rodriguez Jr. (Maricopa), Harvey Rodriguez (Maricopa) and Louis Rodriguez (Maricopa); 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy through the years.
