Juan L. Jacquez

Juan Lucio Jacquez, 71, of Eloy died Aug. 21, 2008 at Chandler Regional Hospital.


Visitation began at 8 a.m. Tuesday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 8:30. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial was in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Jacquez was born May 8, 1937 in Berino, N.M., and was a son of Maria and Juan Jacquez. He was a farm laborer. He loved his family and also barbecuing and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Estella; a son, Johnny Jacquez of Coolidge; a daughter, Delma Salinas of Eloy; a brother, Joe Jacquez of Eloy; six sisters, Linda Villescaz of Eloy, Adela Vasquez and Amelia Gallardo of Tucson, Rosemary Santos, Gloria Tapia and Julie Leija, all of Casa Grande; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Arturo and David Jacquez.
