Josie T. Martinez, 59, of Casa Grande died on April 10, 2010 at home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel in Eloy, with Pastor John Roybal officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Martinez was born on Feb. 21, 1951 in Eloy. She was a homemaker. She liked gardening, hiking, her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed music, was well organized, did things for others and loved going to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio; a son, Anthony Martinez of Casa Grande; her mother, Luisa Talamantes of Arizona City; three brothers, David and Seferino Talamantes II of Casa Grande and Joseph Talamantes of Gilbert; six sisters, Julia Alejo, Loida Mehringer and Mary Lou Scribner, all of Casa Grande, Angela Gonzales and Lydia Small of Arizona City and Rebecca Jones of Japan; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Seferino Talamantes.
