Joseph Antone

SACATON — Joseph Antone, 42, of Sacaton died on Oct. 14, 2011, at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the Antone home, 131 N. Main. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.
Mr. Antone was born on July 12, 1969, in Stanfield. He was a security guard at Gila River Casino and enjoyed horseback riding and watching rodeos. He also enjoyed making his grandchildren laugh and watching them participate in sports. He did beading and crafts and enjoyed sitting outside with his dog, Bandit. He loved working outside in the yard. He always was willing to help family members and loved going to the casinos.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; a son, Micah Antone of Sacaton; two daughters, Vanessa and Kelsey Rivera of Sacaton; a brother; three sisters; several grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Willa M. Antone.
