Jose Rodriguez Perez, 59, of Casa Grande died July 17, 2008 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.


Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Perez was born July 31, 1948 in Fabens, Texas. He was a custodian. He enjoyed his family and was a loving person who loved to dance. He was a good handyman in various trades and was always willing to help people.

Survivors include his companion, Genny Harvill; two sons, Jose Perez Jr. of Palmdale, Calif., and Billy Joe Perez of Hewitt, Texas; three daughters, Sonia Perez of Las Vegas, Nev., Delores Perez of Palmdale and Veronica Perez of Hewitt; two brothers, Jesus and Juan R. Perez of Casa Grande; seven sisters, Maria Talamantez, Consuelo Guerrero and Esperanza Pinon, all of Casa Grande, Julia Parra of Modesto, Calif., Esther Solis of Arizona City, Clara A. Archuleta and Helen Sanchez of Casa Grande; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lupe Nava and Alicia Anchondo, and his parents, Domingo Perez and Refugia Rodriguez.
