SACATON FLATS - Jonathan P. Thomas, 50, died March 23, 2007 in Chandler.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the District 2 Service Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacaton Flats Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born Sept. 26, 1956 in Sacaton to Joshua and Sienna (Redmoore) Thomas. He was a laborer and was known as a hard worker. He worked for District 5 of the Gila River Indian Community for more than 10 years. He liked music and enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with family and friends. He was devoted to his family.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki (Johnson); two sons, Delvin Johnson of Sacaton Flats and Donavan Johnson of Queen Creek; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary M. Harvey, and a brother, Ruford Thomas.
