Jolene Michelle Thomas, 39, of Bapchule, died February 7, 2022, in Gilbert, Arizona. She was born July 13, 1982, in Phoenix, Arizona to Dallas Thomas Sr. and Elaine Patrick. Jolene, known to her family and friends as “Sweet Pea,” attended school in Maricopa, and was her high school mascot, the “Ram”. That is where she met Shane Taylor. They reunited years later and lived in Fort Myers, Florida before returning to Arizona to be married. She enjoyed Traditional Bird Dancing and listening to Bird Songs. She loved to cook, her specialty was menudo, everyone loved her red menudo. Jolene was always laughing and had a smile on her face, she loved children as well. She worked at Gila River Casinos. She was loved very much and had so many friends. Her smile and laughter will be missed.
She is survived by her fiancé, Shane Taylor of Florida, her mother Elaine Patrick of Bapchule, her siblings, Kevin Patrick of Bapchule, Dallas Thomas Jr., of Sacaton, Brice Thomas of Phoenix, Lawrence Lewis of Sacaton Flats, Andrew Thomas Sr., Cameron Thomas, and Kristin Johnson all of Sells, and Adam Thomas Sr., of Bapchule.
She is preceded in death by her father Dallas Thomas Sr., a sister, Dawn Thomas and a brother, Shawn Thomas.
