John C. “Abe” Lincoln, 72, of Eloy died on Dec. 15, 2010.
The celebration of life will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 28 at First Assembly of God in Eloy, with the Rev. Edward Wooten officiating. Burial will be in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
Mr. Lincoln was born on April 10, 1938, in Winamac, Ind., and was a son of Robert and Virginia Lincoln. He served in the Marine Corps before retirement. He was an avid Phoenix Suns fan and loved working outside, planning and building. His favorite times were with his family, friends and church. He also retired from Warren Properties Inc. in 1999 as area district supervisor.
Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Wolf of Naples, Fla., Catherine Usher, Julie Mosher and Karen Corrion, all of Coldwater, Mich.; three stepdaughters, Robin Bearden of Eloy, Cathy Lahnum of Casa Grande and Penny Quimby of Bronson, Mich.; three brothers, Keith Lincoln of Mishawaka, Ind., Larry Lincoln of Greenfield, Ind., and Terry Lincoln of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; a sister, Roberta Holiday of Hamilton, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, in May, and a grandson, Lalo J. Carrion.
