CASA BLANCA - Joan Dorothy Dixon, 82, died Oct. 20, 2008 at Hospice Family Care.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Dixon home. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Aaron Johns officiating. Burial will be in Vah-Ki Cemetery.

Mrs. Dixon was born in Sacaton and was a daughter of Fred V. and Dora Jackson. She was a teacher's aide and a grandmother to the Sacaton Youth Home. She was a member of Vah-Ki Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include four daughters, June Manuel of Salt River, Lola Nelson of Sacaton, Joy Setoyant of Casa Blanca and Carla Terry of Santan; 20 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, and a son, Rodney Dixon.
