Jimmy Dale Taylor, 52, of Casa Grande died March 6, 2009 at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.


Mr. Taylor was born May 4, 1956 in Phoenix. He was a corrections officer. A fun-loving man, he made friends easily and was called "Big Jim." He built rock crawler vehicles and liked to fish, hunt and sing karaoke.

He loved cooking, especially Cajun food, and enjoyed barbecuing and bonfires. He enjoyed country music and his dogs, Honney and Buddy. He loved teasing his daughters and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; four daughters, Jennifer A. Taylor, Laura M. and Tasha N. Chabarria and Autumn D. Bernier, all of Coolidge; two sons, Jason D. Taylor and Joe D. Chabarria of Coolidge; two sisters, Robin Lewis and Sandy Weichens of Phoenix; four brothers, Mark Bruce of California, Michael Mott of Colorado, Steve and Jim Bruce of Phoenix; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
