Jesus Cervantes

PICACHO — Jesus Arturo Cervantes, 24, of Picacho died on July 10, 2013.

Visitation will begin at 6:30 p.m. today at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 9 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Cervantes was born on March 25, 1989, in Florence. Known for always having a big smile and making people laugh, he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, spending time with his family and friends, cookouts, watching wrestling and comedy shows, listening to music and dancing. He took pride in being a father.

Survivors include a son, Daniel Contreras of Eloy; a daughter, Rosa Cervantes of Arizona City; his mother, Nellie Cervantes of Arizona City; two brothers, Anthony Alaniz of Eloy and Armando Bojorquez of Coolidge; and his nana and tata, Eugenio and Jessie Cervantes of Picacho.
