Jeanette Rose Lopez

SACATON - Jeanette Rose Lopez, 72, died on Jan. 22, 2015, at Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, California.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the District 3 Service Center, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton by the Rev. Gregory Rice. Burial will be in East Sacaton Cemetery.

Ms. Lopez was born on May 16, 1942, in Coolidge and was a daughter of Lester and Angelita Lopez. She was a homemaker and liked to sew, listen to music, watch soap operas, collect salt and pepper shakers and dance. She loved her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Lopez-Nieto and Gloria Hernandez of Porterville; a son, Vincent Lopez of Porterville; a sister, Sara Lopez of Casa Blanca; a brother, John Lopez of Bapchule; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Ruben Lopez; three sisters, Margie and Elizabeth Lopez and Louise Beaty; and five brothers, Raymond, Justin, Roy, Ignacio and Anthony Lopez.
