Jean Rausch

CASA GRANDE - Jean A. Rausch, 89, died on Feb. 19, 2018, at her home in Casa Grande.

Mrs. Rausch was born on April 19, 1928, in Marysville, Ohio, to Loretta and Clayton Shanks. She was married on July 22, 1950, to Marvin P.L. Rausch. She was an avid seamstress and quilter who enjoyed making clothes and quilts for her family and friends.

She always had a smile and a good word for everyone she met. Prior to his death in 2005, she and her husband of 54 years traveled extensively, visiting multiple countries and nearly every state.

Survivors include a son, Brad Rausch of Casa Grande; a daughter, Sue Pinon of Gillette, Wyoming; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Pinon.

Celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, at First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande, with Pastor Paul Elgin officiating. Burial in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Marysville.
