Janie Voss Horton

Janie Voss Horton, 54, of Henderson, Nev., died May 28, 2008.


A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel, with Pastor Roy Edwards officiating.

Ms. Horton was born July 9, 1953 in Casa Grande. She was a bartender and waitress. She was devoted to her family, and her greatest joy came from them. She loved to bake, fish and go to yard sales.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Hensley; two sons, Paul Madewell of Quartzsite and Joshua Scott of Arizona City; her parents, John L. and Jewel Voss of Casa Grande; a brother, Randy Voss of Eloy; two sisters, Pam Long of Arizona City and Cathy Tipton of Show Low; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
