Janet Mary Mceachern

Janet "Johnny" McEachern (85), of Eloy, died February 24, 2021 in Chandler, Az.

Johnny was born in Duncan, Az to Wesley and Helen Townsend. She graduated from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School. She married Ross McEachern and had 7 children. They celebrated 68 years of marriage in August of 2020.

Johnny was the cafeteria manager for the Eloy Elementary School District before her retirement. She loved watching Antique Roadshow, visiting with friends, and caring for her family. She was a wonderful cook and was famous for her cobblers, cakes, and banana pudding.

She was a good friend, a great sister (and sister in law), a loving wife, and an amazing mother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Johnny was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Helen, and by her daughter, Holly.

She is survived by her husband Ross McEachern, son Ronald (Anita) McEachern, daughter Connie (Richard) Turner, son Kent McEachern, son Michael McEachern, son John McEachern, daughter Melissa Mikkelsen, sister Sandra Bridgewater, sister in law Janice McEachern, sister in law Cora McEachern, 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

There will be no services for Johnny. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to local food banks.
