James "Jim" Wickes

MARICOPA - James R. "Jim" Wickes, 63, of Maricopa died on July 3, 2014.

The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande.

Mr. Wickes was born on May 13, 1951, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a 1969 graduate of Saguaro High School in Scottsdale and worked at many jobs as a heavy equipment operator, semi- and trailer-truck mechanic, farm foreman and mill foreman, including at Hogenes Dairy in Maricopa. He most recently was a senior technician at the Nissan proving grounds. He was a member of a four-wheel-drive club and was a part-time firefighter in Maricopa.
