Isabel Marie Rivas

Isabel Marie Rivas, age 81, passed away on May 11, 2020. She was born on June 19, 1938 to Jesus and Carmen Ruiz in Eloy, Arizona.
She was a kind, loving, and devoted mother and grandmother first and foremost, who had an infinite love for her family. The two most important things to her were her family and faith. She would go above and beyond for them, especially all her grandchildren. She was a homemaker who treasured and embraced raising four strong boys. She instilled in her sons strong values that have served them well. She had a vivacious personality and servant’s heart that took in anybody who came through her door and always kept everyone well fed. Arizona was her home and she loved to be near her siblings. If you ask her grandchildren about their favorite memories of her it would be her homemade tortillas and tamales, snuggles, and arm scratches at nap time. Her boys will always remember what a strong, fierce mother she was. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus Mungia Ruiz and Carmen Baldenegro Ruiz, her brothers Fernando B. Ruiz, Leon B. Ruiz and Alfred B. Ruiz.
She is survived by her sons Manuel Rivas Jr. and wife Jane Rivas of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ruben Rivas and wife Tania Rivas of Dalhart, Texas, Jose Rivas and wife Kim Rivas of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Johnny Rivas of Tucson, Arizona. Grandchildren: Tara Rivas, Ashley Hass, Jessie Rivas, Tanea Rosales, Zach Rivas, Rachel Rivas, Tristen Rivas, Josh Rivas, Luke Rivas and Alexander Rivas. Great grandchildren- Caiden Ceniceros, Jhayliegh Rosales, Naliyah Rosales, Hazel Rosales, James Hass, Mikey Pearce, Declan Hass, Dash Rivas, Titus Rosales, and Baby Hass. Siblings: Jesus B. Ruiz, Jose B. Ruiz, Ernesto B. Ruiz, Alice B. Quintero, Eleanor R. Vanderslice, and many nieces and nephews.
