Ingrid Shelia Putesoy Cruye

BLACKWATER - Ingrid Sheila Putesoy Cruye, 44, of Blackwater died on Oct. 4, 2015, in a rollover accident on Interstate 40.

Mrs. Cruye was born on Feb. 13, 1971, in Yuma. She attended Phoenix Indian School and loved music and dancing. She also enjoyed long walks and attending powwows throughout Indian country. She formerly was Little Miss Havasupai and Miss Havasupai.

Survivors include a daughter, Caitlyn Cruye; a son, Tayron Putesoy; four sisters, Flora Wright, Lenora Jones, Desiree and Daphne Putesoy; and two brothers, Claudius Putesoy and Clayton Watahomogie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Chick Putesoy; her husband, Benjamin Cruye; a daughter, Tanisha Putesoy; and a son, Clinton Putesoy.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Cruye home in Blackwater. The graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Saturday in West Cemetery.
