Imadelle Powell

Imadelle B. Powell, 98, of Casa Grande died on March 30, 2013, at home.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Powell was born on Feb. 18, 1915, in Yantis, Texas, to Fannie and Dorsey Nichols. She married Houston Powell on Nov. 30, 1939. They moved to Eloy in 1945 and owned three separate grocery businesses, the last one being Main Street Market. She also was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Powell; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Foundation for the Blind or Arizona Kidney Foundation in memory of her husband.
