Ignacio Bojorquez

Ignacio M. Bojorquez, 93, of Casa Grande died on June 30, 2011, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated there at 10. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Bojorquez was born on Jan. 19, 1918, in Mexico and was a son of Mariano and Rita Madrid Bojorquez. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Casa Grande. He enjoyed his family, especially the children. He also enjoyed gardening, watching the Suns and Diamondbacks and visiting Guadalajara, Mexico.
Survivors include three sons, Edward J. and Charles Bojorquez of Casa Grande and Paul Garcia of Tucson; four daughters, Esther Bojorquez of Tucson, Joann Bojorquez of Tempe, Grace Bartlett of Gilbert and Kathy Garcia of Mesa; a brother, Leo Robles of Pharr, Texas; a sister, Sally Hernandez of Casa Grande; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joaquina; a son, Chris Garcia; a grandson, Gregory Wilson; a brother; and three sisters.
