Herminia Gomez

COOLIDGE - Herminia Gomez, 82, of Coolidge died on March 12, 2015.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at St. James Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Adolfo Martinez. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.

Mrs. Gomez was born on May 21, 1932, in Florence. She was an educational assistant and was kind and spiritual and always thought of others before herself. She loved reading, gardening, cooking and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jose G.; five daughters, Grace Manzanedo, Yvonne Gomez Aguayo, Irma Ortiz, Mary Caballero and Terry Cory; three sons, Raul and Andy Manzanedo and Albert Gomez; a sister, Sally Ramirez; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Manzanedo.
