Harry Nathan Askins,

ELOY - Harry Nathan Askins Jr., 80, of Eloy died June 28, 2007 at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System hospital in Tucson.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Valley Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene in Coolidge, with the Rev. Curtis Adams officiating. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.

Mr. Askins was born June 4, 1927 in Compton, Calif. He served in the Navy during World War II and operated H&H Market in La Palma for 43 years. He was well-liked and enjoyed golf, bowling and hunting. He was a member of Valley Community Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rosa Lee; a daughter, Marsha Dyer of Tucson; a son, Marty Askins of Gilbert; and seven grandchildren.
