Harriet Smith

Harriet was born February 15, 1945 to Morris and Patricia Pollack in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Harriet graduated from Vineland High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Harriet worked as a legal secretary until she retired. She was united in marriage to Robert Smith on July 12, 1997 in Clarks Summit, PA. She and Bob created many wonderful memories in their 23 years of marriage.

Harriet loved reading, knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and art. Visiting Maui, being with family and grandchildren was always special. Harriet had a special place in her heart for cats, helping several cat rescues. Her generosity was also noted to friends and family.

Harriet is survived by her husband of 23 years - Bob Smith, daughters Michelle Friedman (Brian Gilligan) and Mara Gieseke (Andy), sister Charna Kinneberg (Rob), grandchildren Chase, Tanner and Quinn Gilligan and Sophie, Zoe, and Chloe Gieseke.

Harriet was pre-deceased by her brother, David Pollack, sister-in-law Rita Pollack, parents Morris and Patricia Pollack, grandparents, Benjamin and Clara Kravitz and Isadore and Yetta Pollack.
