Harold DarrellCASA BLANCA — Harold Cecil Darrell, 87, died on Aug. 19, 2010, at Caring House in Sacaton.
The wake will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Darrell home in Casa Blanca. The graveside service will be at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Vah-Ki Cemetery.
Mr. Darrell was born on March 1, 1923, in Sells and was a son of Johnson E. Darrell and Fanny Hughes. He was a World War II veteran and served in the Navy for four years, including on the USS Dewey in the Philippines region. He then served two years in the Army. He was a farmer.
Survivors include a son, Brian Davis of Casa Blanca; two daughters, Lynette Carrillo of Casa Blanca and Brenda Mendoza of Goodyear Village; a sister, Bernice Wilson of Lower Santan; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
