Grace Lopez Vidal

ELOY - Grace Lopez Vidal, 62, died on Dec. 23, 2019.

Ms. Vidal was born on Aug. 12, 1957, in Eloy to Guadalupe E. Vidal and Enriqueta L. Lopez. She graduated from Santa Cruz Valley Union High School, Central Arizona College and the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree. She was a teacher at Curiel School in Eloy for 35 years.

She was very involved with St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church and was devoted to her family. Her greatest joy was in spending time with them. She loved being a nana and playing loteria and dompe. She touched the lives of many.

Survivors include a son, Eduardo Vidal Meza II of Eloy; five siblings, Guadalupe L. Vidal Jr., Mercy L. Vidal Juarez, Margaret L. Vidal Valenzuela, Arminda L. Vidal Valdez and Richard Y. Vidal, all of Eloy; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. with rosary recited at 7 on Friday, Jan. 3, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated there at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
