Gerald Steven Archer

COOLIDGE - Gerald Steven Archer, 61, of Coolidge died on June 24, 2020, at home.

Mr. Archer was born on Oct. 9, 1958, in Riverside, California, to Gerald S. and Melva F. Jones Archer. Growing up in a military family, he traveled the world as a child. He continued in a family legacy of service, working for many years for the Coolidge Police Department and as a state corrections officer in Florence.

He was devoted to his family and loved spending time at the racetrack with his children, playing games with his only granddaughter and being outdoors with the ones he loved and going hiking or camping. He helped his mother around her home and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Survivors include his mother; a daughter and son, Jessica Zelenka and Derek Archer; two siblings, Veniece Kennedy and David Archer; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father.
