Gerald Dean Cunningham

October 26, 1918 - July 8, 2009

A celebration-of-life service for Gerald Dean Cunningham will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the Christian Church of Casa Grande. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Church of Casa Grande, Hospice Compassus, or the charity of the donor?s choice.

Mr. Cunningham, 90, of Casa Grande, Arizona, died July 8, 2009, at Hospice Compassus.

He was born in State Line, Indiana, and was a son of George D. and Cora Cunningham. He owned a jewelry and novelty store in the Danville, Illinois area and drove a dry cleaning route. He was an agent for Prudential Insurance for 25 years. He was an active member of the

Christian Church of Casa Grande.

Survivors include his wife of about seven years, Mildred C. Rose Cunningham; two sons, Gary Cunningham of Illinois and John Cunningham of Indiana; three daughters, Betty Brandon of Indiana, Jeannie Martin of Casa Grande and Joan Pritchard of Missouri; 16 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first two wives, Florence and Hazel.
