Gerald Antone

JACKRABBIT VILLAGE — Gerald Patrick Antone, 68, died on Sept. 20, 2010, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at 6 p.m. Monday at the Lucas Antone home. The wake continued at St. Anthony Mission in Jackrabbit. Burial was to be at 5 a.m. today in Jackrabbit Cemetery.
Mr. Antone was born on Oct. 20, 1941, in Kaka Village and was a son of Francisco and Mareen Antone. He served in the Army and was a security guard.
Survivors include his wife, Francine M. Andres, and three brothers, Clement, Lucas and Gilbert Antone, all of the Tohono O’odham Nation. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Lopez.
