Gary Edward Felix

FLORENCE - Gary Edward Felix, 67, of Florence died on June 10, 2019.

Mr. Felix was born on Nov. 8, 1951, to Paul A. and Kathleen C. Felix in Florence. His professional life was spent primarily in information technology, serving many years with companies that developed, tested and maintained complex computer systems.

His hobbies and passions were in all types of outdoor activities including fishing and four-wheel-drive sports. He was a member of some amateur, or ham, radio clubs, which provided homeland security and event communications with public safety agencies around the state.

Survivors include four adult children, Holly Polley and Lisa Keeler of Mesa, Matthew Felix of Phoenix and Noelle Sammons of El Paso, Texas; his mother; five siblings, David Felix of Scottsdale, Daniel Felix of San Tan Valley, Louis Felix of Florence, Nancy Felix of Florence and Mark Felix of Coolidge; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Loretta.

Funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 3 at St. James Catholic Church in Coolidge, with reception following.
