Francis Griffiths

FLORENCE — Francis Tetzner Griffiths, 78, of Florence died on April 16, 2013, in Casa Grande.
Mr. Griffiths was born on March 6, 1935, in Springfield, Mass., and was a son of Francis P. and Elsie Griffiths. He was a military veteran, a psychologist and administrator for state government. He loved people, was devoted to his family, was always helping those in need, was in the process of writing a book and was a strong believer in women's rights.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Charlotte; three sons, David and Paul Griffiths of Little Rock, Ark., and Douglas C. Griffiths of Cordes Lakes; a daughter, Carol Butler of Bigelow, Ark.; a brother, John Krebs of Houston; a sister, Carolyn Walthall of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, William F. Griffiths.
No service will be held at Mr. Griffiths' request.
