Frances Carol (Golden Hawk) Neeley, 74, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 2, 2014, at home.

A private service is planned.

Ms. Neeley was born on June 5, 1940, in Findlay, Ohio, and was a daughter of Mitchell Neeley and Betty Jane Archer. She was a caregiver for Hospice Compassus and a member of Calvary Chapel. A member of the Southwest Cherokee tribe, she enjoyed making traditional tribal jewelry and doing beadwork. She traveled nationally to attend powwows and display her work.

Survivors include a daughter, Fawn Butte of Phoenix; three sons, Clay Washburn of Forest, Ohio, Shane Washburn of Deshler, Ohio, and Lance Butte of Arlington, Ohio; a sister, Rose Benroth of Casa Grande; and 13 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
