Floyd Russell Keelean

Floyd Russell Keelean, 84, of Casa Grande died Sept. 19, 2009, at Archstone Care Center in Chandler.

A private service will be held later.

Mr. Keelean was born Feb. 6, 1925 in Manastique, Mich., and was a son of William and Lola Keelean. He served in the Navy and was a machinist at General Motors before retirement. He enjoyed woodworking and genealogy.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Roberta Olson and Theresa Logan of Michigan; two sons, Tom Keelean of Michigan and Rick Keelean of Florida; two stepdaughters, Elaine Gray of Tucson and Shirlianne Sloan of Casa Grande; six sisters, Lucielle Cook, Shirley Anderson, Lorraine Mills, Jean Rendall and Marie Heatsch, all of Michigan, and Alice Keelean of Florida; a brother, Bert Keelean of Michigan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ela May Gillian, and a brother, Bob Keelean.
