Flossie Mae Pate, 94, of Casa Grande died on April 24, 2012, at Hospice Family Care.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church. The funeral there will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, with her grandson Dr. Greg Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road in Chandler.
Mrs. Pate was born on April 16, 1918, in Idabell, Okla., and was a daughter of John A. Roberts and Vera M. Plummer. She moved to Coolidge from Texas at age 21 and lived in Coolidge until moving to Casa Grande in 2003. She was a missionary with her husband for 50 years on the Gila River Indian Community, sponsored by the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention. She also was a homemaker and loved her family, especially the children.
Survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Osborn and Beverly Fowler of Casa Grande, Frances Williams of Coolidge and Crystal Hall of Gilbert; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E.; two brothers, Aussie and Floyd Roberts; and a sister, Edna Seats.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Southern Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice Family Care.
