Felipe Mateo

CASA GRANDE - Felipe Mateo, 29, died at home on July 31, 2019.

Mr. Mateo was born on March 15, 1990, in Los Angeles, but he always considered Casa Grande to be his home. He was a nice, humble man. Even though his time on earth was cut short, he left an impact on his family and those who knew him.

He brought joy to their lives in many forms. He was known for his laugh and his passion for the Arizona Cardinals. He helped raise many of his little cousins.

He is survived by his father, Juan Mateo; four brothers, Ismael, Moses, Juan and Diego Mateo; and two sisters, Noemi and Isabel Mateo.

Wake beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 2162 St. Pedro Ave. in Casa Grande. Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 9:30. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10.
